Arizona Camp Tours

We hope you can join us for a day of camp tours in the Prescott area to learn from other camp properties and programs, and to have the opportunity to network with other camp professionals. Each tour highlights different program and facility areas unique to each camp; visit the camp websites linked below for more information about each camp. We will visit:

• Chapel Rock Camp & Conference Center
• Camp Stein
• Friendly Pines
• Girl Scout Camp Marapai

This is an open invitation to all ACA members and non-members; we encourage you to invite your emerging professional staff, program staff, and facility folks. This event is free, but please RSVP.

Schedule — Thursday, April 10

• 9:30 am: Meet at Chapel Rock, Check In & Introductions
  • Address: 1131 Country Club Dr, Prescott, AZ 86303
• 9:45 am - 11:00 am: Tour of Chapel Rock 
  • *Participants will sign waivers at Chapel Rock
• 11:00 am: Drive to Camp Stein (15 min drive)
  • Address: 3400 Camp Pearlstein Rd, Prescott, AZ 86303
• 11:15- 1:15 pm: Camp Stein Tour
  •  Tour includes lunch break. Don’t forget a brown bag lunch!
• 1:15 pm: Drive to Friendly Pines (30 min drive)
  • Address: 933 E Friendly Pines Rd, Prescott, AZ 86303
• 1:45- 3:00 pm: Friendly Pines Tour
• 3:00 pm: Drive to Girl Scout Camp Maripai (5 min drive)
  • Address: 201 E. Maripai Road Prescott, AZ 86303
• 3:15 - 4:30: Tour Camp Maripai
• Optional Social After - TBA
