ACA Camp Hill Days

Please join the ACA Board of Directors, volunteer leaders, and staff as we gather in Washington, DC, to educate our elected officials on the important impact that camps have on communities across the country.

ACA will host an educational session Tuesday afternoon to share details about our legislative priorities and discuss strategies for effective relationship building with our elected officials. 

What to Expect

• Advocacy training provided by our government relations experts
• Educate our elected officials on the important impact that camps have on communities across the country
• Discuss strategies for effective relationship building with elected officials and connect with law makers
• Aid in building a strong understanding of the impact that camp has in every community
• Build relationships and connect with other camp professionals from across the country
• Help ACA have a strong presence in Washington DC this year
• Attend a fun and engaging social with colleagues, staffers, and officials

Tuesday, May 6, 2025
Location: Doubletree by Hilton, Washington DC Crystal City

• 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. — Lunch
• 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. — Training at the hotel

Wednesday, May 7, 2025
Location: Capitol Hill

• 9:00 a.m. — 5:00 p.m. — Hill Visits (Specific schedule TBD)
• 5:30 p.m. — 7:30 p.m. — Campfire on the Hill Reception House Visitor’s Center (HVC-201 A&B)

Thursday, May 8, 2025
Location: Capitol Hill

• 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. — Hill Visits (Specific schedule TBD)
