NOW LAUNCHING — THE NEW EZ LAUNCH™ FOR KAYAKS AND CANOE

MONETT, MO (March 24, 2009) — Ever tried loading and launching a kayak or canoe from a dock that's poorly equipped for the activity? The word belly-flop comes to mind. Even if you don't end up waist-deep in the water next to your vessel, chances are the experience will leave you wondering why someone hasn't come up with a better, easier solution.

Now EZ Dock has! The EZ Launch for Kayaks and Canoes is the first and only port system made specifically for paddlers of all abilities. "Like a lot of good ideas, this one is pretty simple. You just glide off and on the EZ Launch using its rollers and guide rails," said Curtis Downs, Global Sales Manager of EZ Dock®, creators of the EZ Launch. "The mission of all of our products, the new EZ Launch included, is to make it easier, safer and more comfortable for people of all abilities to enjoy their favorite activities on or around the water."

The EZ Launch makes boarding, docking and recovering your kayak or canoe a breeze. The "cradle" was designed specifically to accommodate the dimensions of today's kayaks and canoes, and the roller and guide rail system provides paddlers the easiest launching and porting ability on the market.

Dedicated foot space on both sides of the vessel, as well as at the front, allow for maximum access and stability. Because it is self-floating, the EZ Launch adjusts to changing water levels. "We designed it so that users won't have to step too far down or bend too much to load, board or unload," said Downs. "It's when people have to reach and stretch too far that they risk injury to their boat, gear, and to themselves."

All users of the EZ Launch will feel safe and confident thanks to the easy-on and easy-off port, and it can be made ADA accessible. "The whole family can effortlessly and safely launch their kayaks and canoes due to the inherent stability and ease of this system," said Downs. "The EZ Launch is great for homes with docks, and it is also perfect for parks, camps or any other recreational waterfront setting."

The EZ Launch was designed to accommodate every owner's needs by being versatile and easy to install. The port is modular, making it adaptable to any location, and it can be used with a current EZ Dock system or with an existing traditional dock. Like other EZ Dock products, the EZ Launch is made from non-toxic materials that provide amazing, maintenance-free longevity that won't harm the surrounding habitat.
"The all-new EZ Launch is the best option for safe, simple protection of kayaks and canoes, their users and the surrounding environment," said Downs. "Add it all up, and the choice is EZ."
