Please join us for the Fall Conference for Camp and Youth Development Professionals. The event features over 20 breakout sessions covering a wide range of topics important to Youth Development Professionals, opening and closing keynote presentations, an exhibit hall featuring products and services of interest to those who work with youth and many opportunitiens for socializing and networking.
Great news! The ACA National Conference is coming to a section near you! The National Conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Denver in 2010!!! If you like to plan ahead, pull out your 3 year calendar and pencil in February 16-19. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am about this news. When the Rocky Mountain Section hosted ACA National in 2003 it was a very positive event for our section. I’m sure 2010 will be the same!
Wilderness First Aid
YMCA Camp Chief Ouray will be hosting a Wilderness First Responder Recertification course put on by WMI/NOLS from November 20-22. For more information, contact Lindsay Holmes by email at lholmes@ymcarockies.org or by phone at 970-887-2648.
First Aid & CPR Classes
Betsy Strohmaier, from Mountain Day Camp, is a licensed First Aid & CPR trainer and is available for custom courses. Please contact Betsy at betsy@mountaindaycamp.com for more information or to schedule a class. So far she has scheduled a class May 14 & 15 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm in Boulder.
