ACA standard on AED’s
ACA requires that the camp determine the need for an AED in relation to campers
and activities. Staff should take into account the age of campers on site in
all seasons, the nature of the camp’s activities, the location of the
camp in relation to medical services, the logistics of storing and using the
AED, the applicable state and local regulations and the advice of medical and
legal authorities. |
