A two-day conference, usually offered in
late March, bringing together nationally
recognized speakers, as well as local experts
to present workshops that are both timely
and informative to camp professionals at

Standards
Course (4.5 hours)
The Standards Course is to help prepare
camp directors for their accreditation visit
and to serve as an introduction to the Standards
program. It is a free program, offered 4-5
times/ year and is open to anyone interested
in improving the quality of their camp and
camp program.
Fall
Professional Seminar (1 day)
A one day seminar, usually offered in late
October, on topics relevant to child development
at camp.
New
Day Camp Leadership Seminar (1 day)
This program is designed to cover several
basic components of camp administration,
and is geared specifically to individuals
NEW (0-1 years of experience) to camp director
or assistant director responsibilities in
day camping.
New
Camp Directors Workshop (3 days)
This workshop is integrated into the New
England Conference, with selected conference
sessions suggested as part of the course.
For directors with 0-1 or 2 years of experience.
Basic
Camp Director Course (4 days)
This is an ACA course, offered nationwide,
for day and resident camp directors with
some directing experience.
Associate
Visitor Training (AVT) (2 days)
This training is to prepare ACA standards
visitors. Anyone is welcome to apply, but
applicants must be members of ACA, be current
in their Standards training, and be approved
by the section.
