Two Thumbs
Up for Heads or Tails!
On February 14 at ACA's National Conference at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel
and Convention Center, ACA's Fund Development Committee hosted a Heads
or Tails Event. Conference attendees gave donations of $5 or more in order to
purchase Mardi Gras beads to participate in a game in which they simply had to
correctly guess if a coin would land on heads or tails. The event was
a great success! Over 370 strands of beads were sold!
Congratulations to Skip Walton (winner
of a Tiffany's & Co.® pearl
bracelet); Mike MacDonald (winner of an
HP® digital camera and free 2009 National
Conference Registration); and Andre Brewer
(winner of a Gevalia® gourmet coffee
basket)!
Over $1,870 was raised for ACA's
annual fund! Thanks to all our fantastic
volunteers who helped with the event, as
well as to all those who participated.
