The National Safe Boating Council is accepting
grant proposals to compete for a single
annual grant established by the OMC Foundation.
The purpose of the grant is to educate
and promote boating among America’s
young people.
The program ensures that the selected
youth program has a source of start-up
or development funds. The grant seeks to
promote the future of the marine industry
for youth in kindergarten through twelfth
grade through environmental education and
safety awareness in all aspects of recreational
boating for this specific age group.
The National Safe Boating Council will be
accepting applications from organizations,
companies, and agencies until March 15, 2006.
