ACA is pleased to announce an educational
partnership with Leave
No Trace. As ACA
phases out the OLS program, Leave No Trace
will provide instructor and trainer training
to teach adults to teach others how to
live comfortably and with minimal impact
in the outdoors. ACA members can take advantage
of grant opportunities through Leave No
Trace to attend training, implement the
PEAK (Promoting Environmental Awareness
in Kids) programs, schedule traveling trainers
to come and teach kids at camp, and enjoy
up to a 20 percent discount on merchandise through the Leave No Trace store.
Leave No Trace Traveling Trainers Dusty and Amy Allison will join us at the
2006 ACA National Conference in Chicago to provide information about their
programs and conduct an educational workshop.
