The staff award
is designed to honor American Camp Association
local staff for efforts in support of volunteers
and the organized camping movement. To
qualify for nomination a candidate must:
- Have been employed for at least five
(5) years.
- Demonstrated leadership
within the camp community and/ or section.
- Show leadership in the development
of volunteers and/or staff for the accomplishment
of national and section goals.
- Be
a positive conduit between local and
national and national and local operations
and intersectional communication.
- Be a positive public spokesperson for
the American Camp Association.
- Shows
a creative approach to problem solving
and is able to think outside the box.
- Shows efficiency by being timely and
following through with their work plan.
