Mary Ennis Staff Award

The staff award is designed to honor American Camp Association local staff for efforts in support of volunteers and the organized camping movement. To qualify for nomination a candidate must:

  1. Have been employed for at least five (5) years.
  2. Demonstrated leadership within the camp community and/ or section.
  3. Show leadership in the development of volunteers and/or staff for the accomplishment of national and section goals.
  4. Be a positive conduit between local and national and national and local operations and intersectional communication.
  5. Be a positive public spokesperson for the American Camp Association.
  6. Shows a creative approach to problem solving and is able to think outside the box.
  7. Shows efficiency by being timely and following through with their work plan.
